Starting 2009 a young guy from Nepal wanted to live, study and work in the USA after completing his under graduation. He did a research on how to immigrate to USA and found the best way of doing so is Diversity Visa Lottery.
In the year 2011 he along with his friends started the Facebook page with the name "DV Lottery in Nepal". In the initial days the post from the social media acted as a notification for the DV open and close dates along with the general instructions. As the time changed the page was focused in providing solutions to its subscribers.
Later Facebook, Twitter and other social media name was change to "Routine of Diversity Visa (RODV)" as a brand for all the subscribers from around the globe with a mission to provide the latest alert, update, information, q&a and what else you need to know about the "green card lottery visa" and with a vision to promote successful completion of the DV- Lottery process independently through trust, credibility and confident.
Each year by law, the US government provides 50,000 visas to people from countries with historically low levels of immigration. All eligible countries are encouraged to participate of which Asian and Africans nations as per their nation's eligibility criterion is of no exceptions.
Over the years, there were so many challenges faced by our fellow subscribers in-order to conclude the DV process successful. This site has be created to guide people on the rewarding stages to completion.
In the year 2020, one of the team member won the diversity visa for the FY2021, in the middle of CoVid pandemic and under the two presidential proclamations, which certain immigrant visa applicants, including diversity visa winners, have been blocked from entering the U.S. as they are considered to present a “risk to the U.S. labor market” during the country’s economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. For some 2020 diversity visa winners, the proclamations have already meant losing the chance to migrate to the U.S. due to tight time restrictions on the visa program.
Experiences will be shared from those whose processes were fruitful and those who failed along the way. Knowledge gained from both (successful and unsuccessful candidates) will help those who are thinking of making the American dream a reality.
Good luck!
